Lynnwood Equestrian Center, Fort Mill, SC

Lynnwood Equestrian Center is a family friendly boarding facility situated on 25 beautiful acres in Fort Mill, S.C.  The facility is owned by Terilynn and Matt Storey, who is a local horse veterinarian.  There are many miles of trails on their property as well as in the surrounding area, so you do not have to own a trailer to enjoy a nice trail ride! Yes ladies or gentlemen, for a great therapy session for your mind, spirit and body, come out and enjoy an hour class of stretching, deep breathing and exercises on top of a horse! It is very therapeutic. No riding experience required and they provide fresh fruited water and goodies after each session.

Round Peak Vineyards, Mt. Airy, NC

This was my 2nd Harvest Host on my travels back to Florida – and my first vineyard!  Round-Peak Vineyards is dog-Friendly!  Leashed dogs are allowed anywhere on the property and if you want to let your pup stretch their legs – take them for a run through the vineyards!  In addition there is also a small fenced in area where your pup can lay, relax, take in the views and snack on some milk bones provided by our friendly Harvest Host owners!

Round Peak has a crushpad patio in the rear with beautiful long range views of the mountains and vineyard where dog owners can taste its award-winning wines, bring a picnic, meet other Round Peak dogs, and play lawn games.

As the sun slowly melts into a pool of burnt orange and vibrant shades of delicious pink kiss the horizon, a warm breeze blows gently through the trees in Round Peak Vineyards, and just as darkness settles in an ethereal dance of love begins. Like tiny shooting stars, these magical little creatures flicker and dance and give me my dose of Zen at the end of a long day.
